The aim of this website is to provide good rockinfo on crags in the Wester Ross area of Scotland.This is probably the most fertile area in the whole of the UK for crag development, and deserves much better attention.Wester Ross has acres of rock (mainly immaculate Gneiss) just begging to be developed and hardly another living soul about. Admittedly, for many years the local climbers have successfully kept the amount of rock in the area a secret, with deliberate misinformation and road blocks, but gradually the 'outsiders' have infiltrated the area and have managed to develop some really good crags. We (locals) now have a more enlightened and friendly attitude!
